I feel like they didn't bring the stats on the hand cannon better devils up to snuff with the rest of the 140 cannons in the game. You have to commit too many of your barrel perks to boosting it's range to compete with other cannons. It's not much of a difference, though. I feel like if it's base range and stability were boosted by 5 points, it'd be able to compete. I noticed that with a few more sunsetted and revived weapons that were brought from the game pre-forsaken. I think it might have something to do with there being barrel perks instead of sight options. The stats just weren't updated correctly.
