I'll match your left-lane camper and raise you a middle lane (of 3 or more) camper driving well under the speed of traffic. Why do people not understand that if they're slower than people on both sides of them, move right!??!

That's it. It's not "the fast lane". The speed limit is the same in all lanes of US highways with a technical exception for the far right which is typically designated for slower traffic i.e. trucks with trailers and other large vehicles.
