Let us be heard. The straight biases towards Warlocks end now.
For the past few years Warlocks have been subjugated into taking a back seat. If Bungie doesn't do something soon I feel like the population of Warlocks will plummet. I'm already making the move to Titan as it seems Titan is the love child.
Bungie answer me this. Why does Weaver's Call on Prismatic not include the flexibilities like Stylish Executioner and Diamond Lance? Hunter's even got a second Prismatic Fragment, Gunpowder Gamble. it triggers on not just Solar but other Subclass elements too.
Weaver's Call received a buff before Prismatic to move the needle, that needle I cant imagine has moved. And when talking about Prismatic, who is picking Weaver's Call over Devour, Hellion or Bleakwatcher. Even Lightning Surge is receiving some play thanks to triple Melee's. Update this Aspect as soon as possible.
Now how come Titans get to use Exotics to improve their Thruster when Phoenix Dive doesn't have a single exotic that works with it? How hard is to let Secant Filiants to trigger Devour on Phoenix Dive? How hard is it to trigger the Arc shockwaves with Vesper of Radius to the spot you land? How hard is it to trigger Stag's Damage Resist for a short time when performing a Phoenix Dive? You have that many Rift based Exotics that could work with Phoenix Dive if you just put the effort in.
And talk about rifts. BUFF THEM. they have not aged well for being the supposed healing class or support class. Here is an idea, "Passing through a rift will cause the effects to linger for a short time." Would that break the sandbox? Oh and if your saying to yourself 'Nah, that would be broken' Tell me the last time Warlocks were actually broken? I can only think when Starfire was at its peak. But if that was still in the game and we put that aside Prismatic Titan, it would still be nerfed over Prismatic Titan because for whatever reason Bungie doesn't understand stacking Melee or Grenade Buffs make something broken.
Now I'm not saying to nerf everything, because we like fun. So I just suppose buffing Warlock in only the area of ad clear currently.
Prismatic Weaver's Call : Trigger effect based on all damage types apart from Kinetic of course.
Arc Soul: Triggers Jolt on full burst if Amplified.
Healing Rift: Effects persist when leaving the rift. Change Empowering damage for Radiant as these two don't stack so just remove Empowering Buff. In doing so make Starfire Protocol work with Radiant as it currently does not.
Rift based Exotics: Change majority of Rift exclusive Exotic to work alongside Phoenix Dive. If you need examples, happy to explain in detail.
Song Of Flame: Increase the super regen and damage against champions like you have done with every other Roaming Super. If you are going to tell me its because its strong, id like to just look at all the other Roaming Supers that received this buff. Cough cough Glacial Quake.
Winter's Guile: The buff it received is laughable compared to Wormgod for Titans. Unfortunately I can't give any idea's apart from copying Wormgod's. The only other thing i can come to is combining Karnstein and Winter's Guile together and giving one a different perk. But even i can see this might be a bit overboard. I just thought this might need some attention.
Sanguine/Eye Of Another World: As much fun as it is to see people through walls, compared to Knucklehead radar the closest competition would have been Eye Of Another World, it already highlights enemies when looking at them. So either Knucklehead needs to lose the see through walls bonus when their class ability is not available or Eye Of Another World needs to receive the marking other then Sanguine.
Prismatic Solar Grenade Healing Grenade: Fusion or Solar would have been a more fitting pick. Bungie has nerfed restoration to much and the culprit wasn't even Warlocks it was Hunters in crucible I'm pretty sure. Also if i really wanted Restoration X1 that bad with Prismatic I would just use Facet Of Purpose With Song Of Flame. If the argument was that you could use Speaker's Sight on Prismatic, Solar is more fitting to use this on.
Lightning Surge: If Hunter's can stack Melee Damage with Combination Blow and Liar's Handshake and then Titans and stack Melee Damage with Knockout and Synthoceps or Wormgod, Then what can Warlocks stack with Synthoceps to achieve the same result. Nothing. Make Lighting Surge have the ability to increase its damage output somehow. I can only offer ideas. Either increase damage when Amplified, Increase Damage when getting ability kills. Just something, I don't know the answer as I don't have the time to think about it all day.
I really shouldn't need too at this point. And frankly, eventually I won't want to. Ill be a Titan most likely before the last episode concludes. I'm sure there are more aspects about playing a warlock compared to either class that troubles the Warlock Community (or what's left of it.) from being forced into support as Bungie is slowly pushing that on us, to seeing everything what makes a warlock be lost to other classes. I felt like crap when i read that Titans now can just slot on Mask of the Quiet One
and receive easy Devour. Thank god it was nerfed Devour.
Call me crazy, call me stupid. But playing as a warlock feels like we are just the third class at this point. And that is my Ted Talk.

All that talk about rifts and rift exotics and laughably the most forgettable one wasn't even mentioned, goes to show how little effort alot of the exotics have when their made
