First off... What dev would think it's a good idea for multiple times a week to have a modifier that makes most of the guns in the game deal significantly less damage.... like what....... ITS JUST VANGUARD STRIKES. Let me play the way i want ffs. I'm playing destiny less because there aren't fun gamemodes and playlists to just use stupid builds in. Then when i do hop on to play i just want to run some strikes with a new build (because the nether sucks and i dont want to spend 10 minutes dps'ing bosses with stupid mechanics in court of blades) oscillation is the modifier. I just want to shoot -blam!- dude... Help us by deleting it just like you deleted those campaigns i paid money for

I also just turn the game off when I encounter this modifier. Strikes are SUPPOSED to be the chill af content. But with -5, health gates, battlegrounds, and oscillation, they really sucked out the little fun strikes had left. What makes it even better is at no point have strikes seen its loot increased for all that.
-
When Oscillation is on I'm not playing that activity for that week, probably same dude who designed Nether
-
Honestly, the damage tables feel easier in high difficulty lost sectors.
-
Agree with this but also would add haste since seems stupid to make a modifier that actively works against you. Tbh with a name like haste seems like the sort of modifier that should be more like 'Abilities recharge faster when sprinting'

It is way too restrictive. You already have to look for surges and champion mods, now another handicap that messes with your whole gameplay as in gameplay loops etc for certain builds and is also not situation-specific. What I mean by that is that you cannot always use your shotgun just because your pulse rifle doesn’t deal damage anymore. Especially not in a GM.
-
We all know this. Multiple people have pointed this out. Bungie doesn’t care. They like it when things are annoyingly grindy and angers the player base. It’s not about fun. It’s about grind and restrictions.
-
The funniest/laziest part is when they include it in playlists that require champion stunning weapons and non of these weapons stun champions 😂 I swear you can’t be more lazy than this
-
It really works well if you know how to use it. This is literally the easiest GM season ever. Like beyond laughable easy.
-
People have complained about this (including myself) since day one and they do nothing but support it. The no health ones are the worst and they made a whole seasonal activity out of it. The banes were also an awful addition

That modifier can be ignored in low end content. Who's stopping you from playing how you want?
-
I’m very happy those modifiers are gone from GMs. Such an irritating way to play. Not to mention the weapon types chosen just are not it.

Bearbeitet von ⒻⒶⒷⓄⓊⓇⒼⒺ: 4/1/2025 1:39:44 PMMind aswell change the name of this lame modifier to french fries ammo.
-
They should definitely rework it to allow you more choice in what weapons you can use. However the amount of damage you can output with it is why its so restrictive, but I would like to see the debuff on weapons that aren't listed to be removed at least.

Extremely stupid

This is the only modifier that really annoys me.
