So it's been confirmed that we will each have a ship in Destiny that will allow us to travel among the stars. Obviously if you have a ship you have to keep it somewhere. That place would be "The Hangar", the place where all Guardians kept their ships when not in use. Every time I think of what "The Hangar" will look like the first thing that pops in my head is the pod racer selection screen from the N64 Pod Racer game. You would walk through this cavernous area, people and robots bustling about. The ships are separated by walls so that those who own the ships can keep different parts and weapons near their ship without fear of theft. In one section, a crew of engineers swarm a ship, repairing whatever damage was received from a recent excursion into space, while a team of medics tend to the Guardian that was pulled from the smoking vessel. Others have teams of painters applying decals of the Guardian's faction or guild to the ship, announcing alliances and rivalries to the world. And in some, the current ship is being removed to make way for a faster, more powerful model that was purchased with credits earned with blood and lead. This is what I see. What do you see when you think of "The Hangar"?

how great would it be if you could see other player ships docked in the hangar and graffiti the %$#@ out of them. Then they have to fly through space with a giant yellow dick on their windshield

A place filled with ships.

I'm imagining the MechWarrior screen where you can chose which armaments/equipment to load on in which area. I remember loading up a Daishi Prime with enough ER Large Lasers that the whole thing exploded when fired. I had to go back and max out the heat sinks and even then my mech would still shutdown after each firing.

That would actually be really cool. I, honestly, never even thought about where my ship would be when I wasn't using it. This would be a really cool thing to include. I think it would be neat if some how we could see other people's ships inside this place. I'm all for them being locked up, or having some sort of security so it would be harder to steal, but I'd like to show off my ride somehow, and see other creations.

It helps to provide context for what you're talking about considering not everyone knows everything about Destiny right now.
