Has anyone tried out the new game plus modes in Dead Space 3? - Classic - Pure Survival - Hardcore I beat Classic recently which wasn't particularly hard. I'm looking to try Pure Survival some time soon. Hardcore mode strikes me as almost cheap in a way. Beat the game without dying? At least DS2 let you have 3 saves - still brutal, but at least reasonable. DS3 is a long game. I think it could have been cool if they made a mode where all enemies had double health or seriously enhanced resilience. Where dismembering limbs isn't as easy as before and firepower is a necessity. Onslaught mode maybe.
