My dad gave me these jeans when I was about 14/15 because he bought the wrong size by mistake and couldn’t be bothered to return them. They were slightly big and not skinny jeans so I wasn’t that interested and they sat in the bottom of my drawer. Now I am 31 and they are considerably skinnier (or maybe it is I who’s considerably less skinny). I’ve been wearing them for work the past few months and one of the knees has finally ripped. So now I am an owner of ripped jeans. I never liked the fashion of ripped jeans and certainly wouldn’t buy any pre-ripped, but maybe I’ll rip the other knee at some point, since I now can’t wear them for work anyway.
