Destiny weekly reset should be removed. Players should be able to play as much as they want without waiting for weekly reset right???? So we can get multiple chances getting exotics...etc
I don't see any other game doing it. Especially Diablo 3 in rift or greater rift etc.
We paid for the game and we should be able to play when ever and how much we want. Without any restrictions.
*** Before you vote and input comments ask your self if someone is new to Destiny community, how long they have to play to get everything? Why???
To all the haters... I got most of everything and 3 characters are all 32's. I don't need anything. Just trying to help guys starting new.
Destiny is just another game to me. No big deal.

The fact that the nightfall has 500+ Rep for completion, people would be getting nightfall boost, then complete the night fall WITH rep boost, getting about 600+ rep every nightfall, that's almost 1 faction rank up about every 4 or 5 nightfalls. Whoa. People would be ranking up factions like no other, that would be a good thing because then the shaders wouldn't be so hard to get, right?

If they released the reset then anyone who's able would only do raids till they got what they want. Being forced to do other stuff helps the game overall The only way it'd work is reducing the drop rate of good things to 1/1000th of what they are now to compensate for the spamming Then it's unfair to all the people who got it earlier So then you have to do a full server reset. Everyone starts over from level 1 with nothing. Double XP for a week as compensation

This B needs the D
-
Sure, lets remove the weekly reset so you only get 1 raid per character.
-
the reset is the thing that maintain me here

Resets aren't uncommon in other games with Raids. Raids are very much a MMO "thing." If you allow people to play the raid an unlimited time, back to back to back, etc, then the small group of players who do run the raid that many times will max their gear out faster than anyone else. Talk about the separate between the elitists and the not as elite players.. Does it force players into a play style/pattern? Sure. Again, if that's a deal breaker for you, then there are lot of other games out there to play which do not include weekly resets. It's going to be part of Destiny to prevent people from finishing content too quickly, for better or worse. It doesn't bother me at all, but then again, I'm a casual Destiny player.

No reset the game would be over in a month
-
It should be bi-weekly instead.

Edited by ShizRizGrizDiz: 2/27/2015 2:48:37 PMSo by your saying.... MMOs should allow players to do raids and dungeons as many times as they want without limits so everyone can have best stuff in a week and then no longer play and the MMO dies instantly? And no. Bungie made the game, their rules. You didnt pay for shit besides the license to be allowed to play. Buying a game does not entitle you the right to play it....hence, the terms that say at any time they can ban you. No different than work. At anytime you can be fired with or without reason.

Yes get rid of it so everyone can rain strange coins on xur
-
You can do the same raid or nightfall a million times a week if you want... You just won't get anything
-
Everyone would be 32 m8
-
This is an homage(correct spelling of oh-mah-ge?) To Bungies former Halo days, they had their Daily Challenges and their weekly Challenges, you could only do them once for the reward but could do them as many times as they wanted, I feel it is a safe move on their part, they want people to continue to play, Activision especially. If you give people the opportunity to get endless amounts of exotics at any time, what are you guys going to do when you've collected them all? Most people are going to get bored and leave, for another game.
-
You can play it as much as you want. You just can't get 'bonus loot' over and over. Makes complete sense.
-
The weekly reset is Bungie's way of keeping the game from dieing due to it's miniscule amount of content.
-
That would defeat the purpose of playing the game.
-
You can play anytime you want and as much as you want. You just don't get rewards.
-
Hell no. You would finish the game in a week.
-
Wtf no
-
RNG will adapt and chances for exotics and raid gear would be greatly reduced.

Edited by DUBstepH1GH: 2/26/2015 10:42:09 PMThat would only b good for earning crucible/vanguard marks, which at this point most of us don't need. Sure you could raid everyday, but no one would play this game after a month if they did that. Having the weekly reset forces us to come back each week to try again for the special item we want. Or you have nothing better to do with your life.
-
Rofl so you can raid all day and get loot all day and have 10 exotics by the end of the day? Gtfo.
-
I might have been on your side but there is only like 26 exotics so that's like in one month I would be able to get all the exotics that's too fast. Maybe if there were more exotics
