Having the pleasure of a video game ruining your lives this much probably means you're all living pretty well. Worrying about a Nerf here and there seems a lot better than worrying about taxes and groceries.

I got it, though I'm with them, I felt it was unnecessary. I of course also have things I could be worrying about, but destiny is that "I need to relax" threshold. The more they nerf it the less fun I have. There goes my leisure time before enjoying another moment in my dead end ass job in retail.

Yeah, I feel like there shouldn't be nerfs, only buffs, I don't see why they nerf guns, it doesn't make sense to me

It was more a comment about how livid people are getting over a 2.5% Nerf in a video game. Taxes and groceries are just examples of what could be considered more important and not an issue I am trying to push on the forum.

OK then I'll recant my statement and just say the crying over a gun Nerf makes you all sound like whiney babies and you need to adapt playing styles to survive.

Well fair enough, except that the thread isn't about the nerf itself but rather the misleading way it's presented in both the weapons tuning post and the patch notes. I use all primary weapons in PvE and don't play PvP. I had both an oversoul edict and red death maxed and ready to go for this update. Did I find the nerf annoying? Yes I did. But I was much more annoyed at how large the effective nerf actually was. I mean it's just a video game but I never particularly enjoy being misled.
