I've been with Bungie and Destiny for too long to give up hope, I've been there through the hard times and the good time (that's right, time, cause there was only one, Age of Triumph, best time of Destiny) .
Before anyone says that it's people like me, who's fault it is that D2 is like this, can you honestly say Destiny 1 didn't get better with time? Can you honestly say they didn't make improvements with their content? Can you honestly say you preferred D1 year 1 to D1 year 3, or hell even Year 2?

-blam!- Bungie and especially Luke Smith!!!!

I've spent the last 8-9 days having a absolute blast in D1. Yeah there's some lag (sometimes) in crucible and Shitebreaker is still a issue (more fool me for standing in a sniper lane) but that aside every single aspect is better. This week the crucible playlist is Mayhem Clash and I've been on my Huntard, max discipline and double trip mines all over every choke point and doorway. Absolutely loving it. NB . If I killed you with my trips I apologise....not 😂😂😂😂

Edited by JasperGTR: 11/8/2017 1:03:15 PMIf D1 got "better" than why did Bungie make it so unbetter? Is it because they have a vastly different interpretation of the word "better" in that organization than the majority of gamers across the world? If so, what hope do we have left? I'm a shooter. I like shooting things. I like this game's potential. But don't we all? But it's just that- potential.

I for one still have hopes for the game

down voted this aids patch

I have tons of hope for d2. I'm not holding my breath though. I have no desire to play.... I thought maybe the faction rally would ignite a desire to play but no. Sadly, the reason I have hope is because I am starting to believe activision purposely made bungie implement certain changes because they knew cod wasn't very good but if d2 only lasted a month they could grab $$$ from bored and bewildered gamers, then slowly implement changes to gather momentum for future DLC . Sadly, this world is all about $$$ anymore. We are merely cash cows... There isn't any company out there who puts their customers level of enjoyment or satisfaction ahead of profit. More and more I believe bungie has been led into a dark place by their involvement with activision.

Bungie needs to rework a lot of the game. Given their contract with Activision, I doubt they have the time to do any real significant change.
-
I don’t expect much this coming DLC besides a few changes but by the 2nd DLC we should be experiencing a much better game.

Edited by Sssoundwave: 11/8/2017 12:23:50 PMBeen here for 10 years thur halo and destiny. Bungie has their moments and disappointments. Their human, they make mistake and they fail. Its not my job to judge them for who or what they did or didnt do. I have faith in the live team to implement new changes over the next few months. The live team is the reason for everything good in destiny 1. Why give up now, true gamers understand the ups and downs. We never loose hope.

Hey man destiny 1 had the same content issue but by the time we got to rise of iron there was a ton so just wait 2 years and it will be awesome
-
I do, but I've already bought the first 2 dlcs. If things aren't improved after those then I won't buy another.

Wrong forum
-
Very little and it's fading away fast
-
I can't see how they can improve on the fundamental -blam!- ups they've made tbh
-
😃 hasn't that been the company line since vanilla destiny?? Wait for this expansion wait for that expansion wait for the sequel wait for its first expansion.
-
I always have hope for a game in this state, because I know that it’ll be better in the meantime. this forum is just NaCl

I bought the DLC'S with the game, so yes I hope they improve the game, will they? Yes it will, in certain areas, but not all, but let's face it, they can't make it worse. What I really hope for is some clarity from bungie and activision, clarity on what they are intending to do exactly and when? Coming out with vague statements like 'Raid activity' . There is a time and place for vague mystery comments, but now is not that time, not when you have got the vast majority of your community baying for blood, keeping the plans under cover is ok when people have 100% confidence in you, not when people think you are untrustworthy, keeping plans vague just says to me that you have not fixed or improved much but you will have to buy it to find out, which is very wrong.

I still have hope for D2
-
Yea it'll be fine. This community is being dramatic as usual.
-
I have hope that in 3 more years we will have a complete destiny 2 that we should have had at launch.
-
I hope that bungie keeps their promise of the next large update when curse of osiris comes out. This game will get better, people just refuse to accept it. Also, i would like exotics to feel more 'exotic'. I have a few ideas: Fighting lion- first projectile bounces of surface, splits into 3 projectiles. Next surface hit after that spawns tracking mines. Graviton lance- every enemy that gets killed spawns a void orb (already does it), but it tracks enemies instead. Sunshot - add explosive damage.
-
D1 indeed got better...but still couldn't justify the price for what it offered (repetition aside)
-
-
I can honestly say I preferred D1 Y1 (HoW era) to D1 Y3, but then again I completely lost interest after Christmas this year with all the additional nerfs on the horizon so I never played the AoT.

From my point of view bungie is skating on thin ice specially with this bullshit with flash points 292 gear for a 301 light level character then my two other characters get gear at the same light level of 299 without any problems but my primary character gets screwed over for rewards for the same activity
