Bungie, can you please explain your weapon Balance process and philosophy? You guys had two years to sit down and create these weapons. How did you not know weapons like Uriels Gift, Origin Story, and The Last Hope would over shadow the rest? I guess basically what I'm asking is, how do you determine how strong a weapon should stay or should be? When making various weapons, do you guys even do encounter tests between each weapon type? Even an idiot could (after as little as 5 minutes) see that Uriels Gift is stronger than any other Auto Rifle.
What happens when a player just simply cannot get a particular meta weapon and finds and uses a weapon like Out of Options and eventually likes the weapon so much that they raise it to 300. Then, they take it into the Crucible and get utterly destroyed. Players can't even use the weapon they enjoy and It's no coincidence that players are rewarded the Origin Story upon beating the game. Why even have other weapons? I can go even further and say why even play Crucible
Honestly, you might as well take away player load outs and make everyone use Shingen-C with Weisnewski's face painted on it and a random Rocket Launcher. Knowing you guys, you'd probably STILL blow it. What a joke.
