There are people who either forget that a gun can be fired without aiming or simply thinks it's the worse thing not to me holding both triggers/mouse buttons in gunfights. I used to play a lot of Halo so hip-fire was never a problem for me, especially in close quarters. Now if you get a kill with hip-fire people call you bad, toxic, or apparently report you for "unsportsmanlike behavior"(This has happened to me twice in both Rainbow Six Siege and Call of Duty.
I don't get this. There are times when hip-fire is the better option and two weapons specifically perform best this way, The Last Word and Cerberus+1.
People more complain about TLW's ads recoil, especially on console. It's made for hip-fire and you waste the weapon's potential for even thinking about aiming. Cerberus+1 is more excusable because aiming sacrifices damage for a tighter spread but both weapons are optimal when hip-firing.
