Most of the stuff about imperials in the media is outdated and not true. Gaming websites and people on reddit getting thousands of upvotes for saying that the drop rate of imperials with Power and Efficiency 2 upgrade is 20% - which is simply a lie. I've tested it myself for hours. I went into Crucible, Vanguard playlist strikes and the Menagerie and I can assure you that the drop rate of imperials is lower than 5%, which is a complete joke considering how long certain said acitivities take to complete. I've spent 8 hours farming imperials and I only got 500 from that. Are you serious, Bungie? How do you expect one to upgrade the chalice's last upgrades which require 6000-8000 each, when you literally give the players who already did almost all of the triumphs, quests and what not almost no imperials at all. It's not fun running 10 strikes and not even getting 500 imperials to drop. Nor doing 15 crucible matches without getting any imperials to drop at all. The drop rates are a complete joke at this point. Players who played a few months ago had an advantage thanks to the Menagerie chest glitch. They had no problems getting their imperials in almost no time. Players like me, who came back to the game after 2 years with Shadowkeep are the ones that will struggle for weeks if not months due to the ridiculous drop rates. GG Bungie. Almost about to give up on fully upgrading my Chalice if there's no change coming.
