In the lore for the First Ascent chest piece, we learn more about Ikora's love for detective pulp fiction from the Golden Age. But this one goes further, stating she used to read these books to someone. Not just once, but repeatedly, and that someone was particularly close to Ikora, as they were sat close enough to get to have their hand atop hers as she read to them. So, who do you think it is? I have a few theories. Cayde (least likely, because I think we will eventually meet or have already met this character and they are alive) Eris Morn (there have been some hints they are close, but Bungie seem to be putting her with Drifter) Shun Li (we know Ikora cared about him more than he was letting on in the Transmission Crisis, even letting him call her Korrie, which she disdained from any other person. But we haven't really heard any lore about Shun Li since). Chalco Yong (we have had plenty of lore involving her and Ikora, but by Chalco's own admission, their relationship is more queerplatonic than romantic, and this lore implies something a bit more romantic, imo) So, anyone else got any more ideas? Do you think we will find out?
