Why must I be 2020 to play Contest of Elders?
It’s a story/quest line so I need to play it, but Tomb I only needed to be 1955, so why the huge jump?
I’m at 2019, so I’m close, but it is frustrating to be constantly told I’m not at a sufficient level when the TOE only required me to be 65 levels lower! Yeah, I know it’s a technicality, but it makes very little sense to say to players, jump this high to partake in part of the story line…
It seems an odd set up to me.

2nd Episode of the year for the Final Shape expansion. The expectation being that base line progression would have players at minimum 2000 hard cap. The artifact and pinnacle system grants the rest. 1955 is a sampler for players catching up. That is what I believe anyway.

1 ReplyYou don't have to be at the limit to launch the activity, that's just the level the enemies are supposed to start at. I ran it at 2015 without any issues.

2 RepliesI don’t think you need to be 2020… pretty sure I did it with some people that were 2005, would be very weird if it’s true. I was 2025 tho, maybe you can start it by just joining a fireteam finder posted by someone. 2020+
