Im just asking for some help.....
Why is it that when using the Fireteam Finder, people just dip out on you? I'm just trying to learn the encounters but I am extremely hard of hearing so I prefer not to talk on VC much. I label my post as hard of hearing as a tag as well as first time and guide needed, got two others and jumped in. I was going in blind with a guide on my other monitor so I was just going to read the mechanics as I played. I do this with all raids and dungeons until I learn from memory. Anyway, following these two we managed to get to the first encounter when one of the others asks in chat, "Got mics?". I replied "not me, hard of hearing....". No response from the other player. So I'm reading the guide I have up and looking around when the encounter starts. I have an idea as to how to do this, find the ad and kill, and remember the symbol, grab reflector thingy and move the darkness. We got to the first room and BOOM, a guardian has left you fireteam, and then another second later, again.
I get it. No one wants to game with the people with disabilities. But that sucks. Just because I cant hear as well, doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to try and enjoy the game with others. Give people a shot sometimes.

4 RepliesIt's not even about the disabilities lol. If you don't get it done first try people are most likely going to leave. Destiny players have negative tolerance to failure

If you need help feel free to dm me you can read and do whatever you like as I can solo the dungeon and just bring everyone along as you learn your way.

This is why we need to have matchmaking in all activities....in matchmaking the rules are universal complete the mission carry your own weight and expect shanigans to happen without fail....yes it will be rough to first but as players gain understanding of the activity and are aware of the teams actions clears will become faster and easier as time goes and it unites the player pool for connectivity and reduces wait time...over LFG being unstable and gate kept by elite 50 clear post achievement KWTD meta load out or kick teams and long search times.... -

Post “LF2 Fresh SD chill run (watched a tutorial, still learning) /join Quackzz#1859” 5. Just use the in-game chat and play You don’t need the VC mic for any dungeons tbh.. very few raid encounters require it for avg level players..

1 ReplyThat’s just the nature of LFG in general. You never know who you’re gonna get. Sorry that happens to you. If it helps I use the destiny 2lfg discord. Most people I encounter there just use the text chat instead of vc unless the encounter forces you to use vc like fourth encounter of SE. heck some people just use emotes instead of typing XD granted them and I know the encounters but hey it’s something. I also see people posting to help Sherpa people from time to time im sure you could explain them you need help and I bet they will help no questions asked. Hope that helps see you starside 🫡
