I have applied the latest update on Xbox and am now being asked to complete cross save. I have had cross save setup since it first came out and haven been using it without issue.
I have confirmed that my cross save is active and the proper accounts are linked via the bungie.net cross save page.
I am not sure if I can safely ignore this message or if there is something else happening. Others appear to have a similar issue.

If I cancel, it takes back to the sign in screen. I'm getting suggestions in both directions, some saying don't do it, you'll lose all your characters while others are saying it's safe to continue. The wording on this prompt states: [quote]You can safely proceed if you aren't using Cross Save, or the Guardians created on this platform are the ones you want to use as your active characters.[/quote] What's the right answer here? I've had Cross Save activated and set up for all my accounts since day one. I will be severly pissed off if I loose the 6000 hours i put into this game. Why does Bungie make it so hard to simply play this game?

I got the same just now - is it safe to hit Accept without losing anything? Return to title screen does not work.
