Hi, i'm Cole, i'm 16 and have a huge passion for 3d animation, modeling, sculpting, etc...
I have always wanted to know how to you these amazing pieces of work.
Do you guys tend to go from concept art into sculpting, model decimation, and do re topology?
Or do you do a base mesh, sculpt, and some easier re topology?
I'd love to know to help further my pursuit.
p.s. Max, Maya, zbrush, whats your favorite program to use?

I'd imagine most things stem from sketches. You need a plan before you build.
