From the people I talk to the best method seems to save all ur bouties and turn them in at the same time. Then it will give u 3 exotic bounties to choose from. This is what I did to get both my exotic bounties

U get an exotic hand cannon bounty, do like 5 steps. The last step being kill xyor. Which is where I'm at til I get some good help.

it's not that hard actually. if you get down to the part just before phogath, just stay in the room just before the shreiker. kill all the mobs and eventually he will show up after the third wave. take him out and you are done. never even need to go into the main area with phogath.
