It's not that useless, you are invisible on others radar and if anyone was looking your way, not directly at you, then they would miss you, and it can have perfect stability too.

If you are a guy who uses snipers a lot you know you don't just sit in your scope. You don't see enough. What you do is you find you target and then engage. The main reason I want the invisibility is to remove the scope glare when I aim in. But I take far less than 4 seconds to acquire and kill my target. Because the longer I'm in my scope the less I know. Now you may say the radar perk makes up for that. It does. You're not going to find other snipers and the radar only really acts as a last minute warning telling you that someone is approaching.
