NEED BIGGER VAULT with NEW DLC - DeeJ please hear us out
It is safe to say at this point... Most people have a pretty full vault.
It is also safe to say that , we only keep items we are interested in... and Vault is still full
Now what happens when new DLC/Raid comes out? New Raid Weapons and Armor... Raid Gear/Weapons perks are pretty specific to the raid you got it from... So most of us will want to keep it.
All this new stuff.. New armor.. New weapons....
No Vault Space
Please increase vault size.. There is NO reason to have such limited storage space... Especially when a lot of us have 3 characters and new content is coming.
Please upvote for visibility!!!

My idea: do it the same way you toggle through main menu (Roster, inventory, etc)
but you are switching through Vault 1, Vault 2, Vault 3.. etc... Simple add I believe

I know you can't necessarily give us solid information... but was the idea THROWN out the window? is it on the backburner? are the devs all for it, but just need time?
This post has gotten great response from the people. We truly want this... and kinda need it with new content inbound.
I am not one of those who cuts down this game, bungie, or YOU ... I support this through and through..
but "I have brought this up in meetings" is very disheartening.. especially when this is OBVIOUS that the people want it.
This is not asking for anything crazy.. Not asking for some new 'Black Engrams' or for you to re-do the story, or change how we level up... This is simply.. Add Vault Space.
Please - Can we get some more solid information on this? Should I have my hopes up? or should we just forget about it?

I would expect everything they store is using a DB and each weapon has its own properties ie how far we have upgraded it etc. So increasing the vault size might need some changes to their DB potentially and in turn will definitely mean more storage space to archive etc etc. Bigger servers (new hardware sizings etc) more HD space so this might have some inherent cost associated with it, which is why they are probably not saying a thing on it. Irrespective Im totally for this and think it needs to be done.

I don't know if it's possible or not, but transferring is a huge pain in the kaboose. It would be much more efficient to make every characters equip accessible from the fault (think pushing l1, r1 or lb, rb to switch between them). This would streamline the process more effectively and eliminate 4 loading screens that players usually encounter. My other suggestion is to have the option to remove the character model from the menu. That might help improve menu load times when there is a lot taking place in the game

I feel like DeeJ has the magic conch and when you guy post stuff like this he just pulls on the cord, listens to it say, "maybe someday", then laugh quietly to himself and continue with his life. Just raid VOG for a few more weeks, you can survive that long.

We need 2x the space we have now for gear and weapons. Non-upgraded & non-upgradable items should stack to have multiple of the same item occupy 1 slot. Maybe an additional subsection for "Shared Inventory" as a go-to for character swaps. While we're in the neighborhood, Exotic bounties need to move to the near-useless Mission Objective side of the character inventory.
