Yes - but only in packs of 8 - Maybe costing a coin or two - That being said if you don't have a materials/chest route on each planet that nets you 16 pieces in 10 minutes you need to up your farming game. I tend to grab 16 and then head to Orbit and come back or even switch objectives for a while - try not to let yourself need more than 16 at a time
