If you are all wondering how to level up the rifle by killing Hive, an easy way to do it is killing Elite (yellow bar) enemies...it levels up much faster...maybe find three enemies that spawn over and over on earth?

I just do a complete loop of the underground tunnels on the moon; if I only use the Husk, it takes about 1-1/2 runs to upgrade it fully.
