I have carpal tunnel in both wrists which is usually okay until I have played for around 2 hours straight. If I am on an hour at a time and take time between - I am usually okay. When I have done any VoG - I have sensed frustration from the team. But I have never been booted off because I usually hold my own. It is at the end that my hands might cramp a bit that causes me some pain. I feel for you brother - it is a sad feeling to have when you think you aren't holding up your end and sense frustration from the team. But if you gather a group of really nice players (and they do exist and many in fact) - that can understand your affliction - they will roll with you and probably easily compensate for you. Hard mode may cause some problem - but I believe with the right guys/gals - you can be aces there too. Keep your chin up and never give up the game because of selfish players. Just reading the responses below tells you there are tons of compassionate players out there that help handicapped people and noobies too.

Idk if carpel tunnel just happens when you use your hands a lot or if it always causes pain but there are these controller covers you can buy that the pro gamers use, it might be a Scuff controller. But it allows you to play with minimal hand movement, and gives more speed and accuracy.

Thanks brother. Lol, I actually cover the PS4 handles with thick silicon pads and use gloves with the fingers exposed and use padding in them too. My problem is my own stupidity. I learned to use the controller wrong and after all these years it is now causing a problem due to the huge amount of hours I play now with Destiny. Instead of using the two finger approach to R1, R2, L1, L2- I use one finger - the actual real trigger finger - and this causes my wrist to twist unnaturally. When I am doing easy things - I now try and do it the correct way. If I can get comfortable doing that - I am confident the problem will ease and eventually go away. I manage with the padding now and when I wake (the pain is worse by far then) - I run it under warm water and it loosens up. I also do a Yoga exercise on my wrist which gives it temporary relief. On occasions where I might raid and if the pain is seeming to cause me problems - I may take an Ibuprofen or two as long as it doesn't make me loopy, lol. I got through VoG on normal twice so I know I can do that again - it is CE - that I never did nor any hard mode. With the right team - I probably can do VoG on hard.
