Destiny 1 servers are showing that they're shut down.
As of 7/18/2024 me and a multitude of destiny 1 players have received an error upon attempting to log in that reads I quote; "This version of Destiny is no longer available. Stay tuned to Bungie.net for updates on your next adventure.". There were no prior warnings about an imminent server closure. Additionally this issue has emerged within the past hour or so. If this was unintentional a swift resolution would be greatly appreciated given that we are paying customers who still engage with destiny 1, or if this was intentional please make your intent to shut the servers down clear to the playerbase.
Update: the issue has been resolved!

7 Repliesthey’re shutting off the servers because nobody is playing. and nobody is playing because they didn’t fix error code marionberry that’s been going on for well over a year. i was hoping they at least make this game available offline before they drop the servers
