I know, this probably won't be in destiny on release, but I think having roaming wild animals in explore mode would help spice the environment and combat a bit, or provide new hunting or bounty missions for dangerous animals, or perhaps used as hunting dogs by the fallen.
For earth, one could have bears or tigers in old Russia, or some tigers and elephants in Mumbai, your old bog standard beasts. Hell, you might perhaps get more powerful or dangerous 'awoken' super tigers or bears.
For mars, there could be huge alien mega fauna, roaming in herds or as huge lumbering solitary beasts, all covered in thick fur, wondering the cold deserts.
For venus, going of the old 1950/60's view of the planet, large vicious dinosaur or colourful bird like creatures, which would be more numerous and aggressive than life on other planets to suit venus's more forested and deadly environment.
I can't think of much for mercury, as we don't know anything about that planets environment, as with saturn or jupiter (though maybe giant floating jellyfish/squids?)
Any, I think adding wildlife in later additions of the game would add a good deal of atmosphere and challenge to the planets, so you guys list any ides if you have them.

Yeah, some kind of wildlife in the game would be nice. It kinda feels dead. It would be really nice.

I agree to that there are birds but it'll be great to have more animals!

Would be awesome if there were big creatures in the wild if there is a wild and then you can go take down "The Mother" Or a massive beast with more health and stronger attacks. Would be cool.
-
If there aren't any animals where do we get food?
-
The world isn't alive without wild life
-
The darkness attempted to destroy all life on earth but couldn't destroy the last city, or the birds.

Yeah, I noticed the only animals in old Russia were birds. I put a question similar to this in a mail sack and Deej didn't respond to it. So yeah.
