Let's see who can answer this question correctly.
only rule is no changing answers! This is an experiment!

Edit: It's not Vex, although I shoulda put that in there to throw people off even more! It's true that both the Vex and the gun in question were nerfed at the same time, but the other gun was running rampant in Crucible while very few people actually had the Vex.
Edit Dos: Lots of people saying Shingen, trying to get me on s technicality! I am talking about the Live version of Destiny. As in, September 9th version :)
Extra credit to anyone who mentioned Uni Remote! While not as rampantly OP as the correct answer, it was nerfed very early on. Just so few people had it when the game first came out. Still something only a vigilant day oner world know about :)

SUROS was never op it was just popular Reasons 1. It was sold twice in the span of 4 weeks making it a reappearing gun people couldn't afford it the first time so they bought it the second time 2. Gee bungie auto rifles dominated iron banner? Could it be because the fucking headshot bounty required an auto rifle you idiots? 3.suros needed a range nerf which it got It killed in 6 headshots maxed out at medium range after that nerf which balanced it perfectly 4. It was early in the game and people wanted any exotic and SUROS was sold twice so naturally people bought it the second time
