"range is a problem so we're removing shot package" I mean I never shotgun so of course they pss me off but how does this make sense? Isn't shot package just so they bullets stay closer together? Ie person still needs to aim it? Shouldn't rangefinder and the generally high range of the three main shotguns be the stuff getting nerfed? Like I said I don't shotgun so if a shotty-user wants to educate me, go ahead. I'm lost....

  • Datto also explained shot package makes you get more pellets onto another player while further than shot package as well as getting those one shot kills more than rangefinder as with rangefinder the range is increased but so is the spread not getting as many one shots

I have listened to that podcast mentioned in the update where that guy explained the range perk. It seems like it is more complicated to adjust any range perks as more is tied into it and it would affect not only shotguns. Instead of waiting another 6 months for a balance update to figure out the range perks, they take immediate action and look at shot package as it can be singled out. Well... That's my guess from what I concluded from that podcast. Ps. I don't use shotguns either so... Really just a wild guess.
