How do you feel about the series as a whole? How do you feel about individual titles within the series?

Was fun screwing around with the tank in 1, maybe 2?, but other then that they weren't intersting.

Edited by SidekickJim: 9/28/2016 3:18:58 PMI don't have much to say on the series, but I think GTA V online is waaay too overrated. Or atleast it was when there were no heists or cool missions. I can't believe people stuck around that long waiting. I enjoyed my time in the singleplayer so much more, so I just stuck with that.

It's a fantastic series. Even if I don't like them all(GTA4), there's undeniably a lot of time and effort pretty much unparalleled in gaming put into creating every game.
-
My favorite has to be Vice City. I really liked the story in GTAV but I could care less for multiplayer
-
As a whole I love the series. Vice city and San Andreas are my favorites though. Gta 3 was an amazing game for its time, but it didn't pull me in with the story at all. V was a really good sequel when it came out, but I haven't played it for a year or more, so I don't know what it's like anymore.

Awesome series of social games. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much without my friends.
-
It's straight. The older ones are cooler to me. Claude, CJ and Tommy Vercetti are pretty interesting people to play as.
-
After reaching level 135 it gets pretty boring.
-
1 and 2 were absolutely brilliant Played 3 for about 8 hours. Never been on it since

I liked the original series, the top down games. Somehow I find the 3D games from GTA3 and beyond very boring and repetitive and very linear for an openworld game.
-
Vice City was something I dug. San Andreas was alright until you get past the part where they bust everyone and throw you in the woods.
-
For those who play GTAV on PC, I suggest looking up the GTAV Redux mod. Or, at least, I believe that's what it's called. It's amazing.
-
Never tried em.

I really liked Episodes from Solitaire City
-
Awesome and fun

I've only played GTAV. I absolutely loved the single player. Multiplayer is only fun when you're doing activities like heists with friends though.
-
I Respect it, like, very very much, Rockstar does more than she needs to on current market just for the fans, free updates, huge content, etc. Can't get into GTA games though.
-
Never played, so no opinion

I remember playing the original GTA, as well as GTA London. In my opinion San Andreas was the best one of the series, gameplay wise. A lot more freedom on what you could do. GTA IV was a huge disappointment in my eyes, I appreciated the story and graphics for the time but still felt like they took a step backwards in terms of what made the series special to begin with. GTA V was enjoyable, the first time round at least, and I especially enjoy the first person mode, but ultimately I think it fell short of what it could be. I'm definitely going to buy GTA 6 when that arrives, and I hope they do better.

Extremely overrated

Edited by Hawk 73: 9/23/2016 9:10:56 PMI feel as if the 3D era of GTA was the best, I wish they continued with it. The characters and stories were great and the cities aswell. For example San Andreas had a huge map with 3 cities whereas the HD version only has 1. I also think SAMP is better than GTA: Online. I also felt that the missions were better aswell and I just simply don't like the newer characters. Tommy, Claude, Vic, Carl, and Tony were all cool protagonists. The new GTA V map is technically bigger but it's a lot of empty space and I don't like the characters. GTA 4 was alright though, the new engine was pretty cool.

I don't like them anywhere near as much as I used to, they're all kind of meh... GTAV especially. For a game with so much to do, I often found myself bored with nothing to do. If I didn't own it digitally, I'd have gotten rid of it.

Could be better.

It's awesome for sure, but they kinda messed up some things in GTA V with the wanted system and physics.
