How bungie ruined the most important thing in a loot game. Sry so long.

This will mainly focus on guns, but armor needs more utility than cosmetic since they also ruined shaders. A combination of 2 things mostly has put me off of Destiny 2 even though I stuck with Destiny 1 since launch with 1000+ hours. No incentive to get loot. Guns now roll static, meaning there is only 1 possible version of that weapon. This creates a problem by very obviously having good and bad guns that will most likely never change in ranking. Where guns had rolled perks you could still succeed using a bad gun with good perks or vice versa. There is no exploring differnt weapons now. You just get it and maybe try it out if it isn't obviously horrible by just looking at it, and if it's bad every time you get it it is a disappointment that is instantly dismantled. Getting loot should NOT be disappointing. Next is the duplicates. Made exponentially worse by the static rolls as previously stated. My personal experiance with the faction rally event was horrible. I pledged to FWC and really wanted the hand cannon and scout rifle. I already had gotten the auto rifle before the event and loved it. I got the sniper which was not good after I tried to give it a chance. I never what I wanted but instead throughout the event I got 8 auto rifles. The one I had before the event even started. In Destiny 1, they had a "smart rng" system was more likely to reward with loot you hadn't gotten yet or in a while. Now without that you are much more likely to get duplicates that just make you more frustrated because they are all the exact same. They made the game shallow be removing the most imporatant parts of a game like this. They instead opted for a proper epic story (which is appreciated and I really like it), but then made unnecessary sacrifices and took all the depth from the loot game. This IS a loot game. Loot is the most imporatany thing. "Oh no, having fun is the most important thing!" Bungie made Destiny 1 a loot game, the community was given a loot game and embraced it. Fun=Loot. Loot=Fun. It's as if Bungie just ignored the community that supported them through the years to instead try to get people to jump in to Destiny 2 that thought the 1st one was overwhelming. I did enjoy the game on the surface, but people tend to jump in to things they love and bungie just broke my -blam!-ing legs with this. Not saying both these to completely change, but something does. Just pointing out how they complement each other in making the game less enjoyable. Some of this is opinion, so feel to disagree. (I'm sure u already do lol)
