Sorry if this has been mentioned before but I dont see it in the list of known issues. I had always wondered why I constantly lose gunfights unless I have the drop and sometimes even when I land the first shot on a moving target from behind. Its extremely hard for me to aim at higher sensitivity and I finally found out why.
It seems that there is a huge deadzone on my right thumbstick when playing on legacy (inverted) thumbstick configuration as described in the linked youtube videos (here’s another detailed acoount of the problem which also relates to Halo games https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fvK1XMSVvcI)
This is a very important topic to me. I’m actually willing to pay for some hours devs may need to use exploring/fixing this issue. I’m a smart player but my k/d doesnt reflect that because i cant aim. I beat myself up about it a lot but now I see that it isn’t actually my fault but in fact the design of the game puts me to a disadvantage.
Thanks in advance for your help and concern.
P.S.
Please dont bombard this post w suggestions that I learn to play default. I’ve tried. The problem w that is when things get heated muscle memory kicks in. I’d be better off switching to M&K but all my friends are on console. I dont wanna drag them into PC pools and I dont wanna xim/cronus.
