I myself don’t care to wear it. If I were to wear it I wouldn’t do a whole face of makeup, maybe just a few things. A little concealer, lip gloss, maybe some eye makeup, that’s really all I care for. What are your opinions tho?

Half the time it makes people look worse.

As a guy I sometimes wear eyeliner and maybe some lip gloss just to make some of the features I have "pop". Makeup can be used however you want, just don't overuse it. Makeup shouldn't be a mask.
-
Everyday I wear mascara and line my eyebrows for my classes. I don’t do this to look beautiful or trick any men into thinking I’m more attractive than I am. I want to look put together, and I want to accent the features I already have. No, makeup should not be used to drown out insecurities, but everyone wears it for a different reason, so who cares what you think? And who cares what I think?

Some ladies are blessed with faces that make up ruins. Others with a little make up look great. There are those who unfortunately have been dealt faces that only a Mother could love, and no amount of plaster is going to fix that. (But they have "great" personalities....) Then there are those who cake it on like a mask, and look more like a clown than a person. And yes, clowns are not people. They're evil denizens of the underworld sent here to corrupt and destroy misguided ones lives.

its a cheat code to look good, makeup is the equivalent of fake muscles for a guy

Edited by RADneck: 1/28/2024 6:37:22 PMPersonally, as a man of culture, it's overused and in many cases when caked on it gets super off putting. Also the kind if people who typically layer that stuff on are not my favorite people. Edit: For clarity's sake, I am not against it, I just think that the people who use a ton of it (you know who I'm talking about) do not make themselves look better.

The only time I like makeup is when I don’t notice it. Like, the human face looks prettiest when it just looks natural, when your eyelids, lips or cheeks are a different color than how a face normally looks, I tend to think it just looks sorta weird. So I prefer no makeup, both on me & on others. If you are going to wear it, though, I’d recommend keeping it subtle.

Depends on the occasion. It can be fun for a fancy party and a pain for a lot of physical activities. It's your face so do whatever you like. Won't please everyone either way so why worry.

I like. If it wasn’t so expensive and society wouldn’t look down on me for it, I’d wear it too. But it’s pricy and I’m a p*ssy.

Are you familiar with David Bowie? That is the only proper amount of makeup

I’m okay with a little makeup but I feel like it should highlight your natural beauty and not cover it up. If I wear any it’s usually just lipgloss and some mascara. If I wear concealer at all it’s for the bags under my eyes lol they’re pretty dark 😅 But I’m not against other girls wearing a lot, do what makes you comfortable with yourself, you know?

Edited by ranma8x8: 1/26/2024 8:34:47 PMI've worn some for Halloween a couple times, and let me tell ya, I felt very handsome. I think it's more about looking cool, and I totally get that. I too want to look cool.
So many "o"s^... Some= eyeliner.
As a fella, I think makeup is like a good idea but there’s a line. If your skin looks straight up opposite than your real skin, then it’s a bit much. I get covering up acne, I would do the same, but if you look like a different human then…

As a guy, I genuinely think girls are more attractive without makeup. It just seems more natural. A little bit is okay, but I have never understood people who put so much makeup on that you can’t tell what they really look like.

Edited by Fred-7 (Supreme): 1/26/2024 4:14:19 PMI mean, I’m a guy so I don’t really wear makeup, but it depends. I’m not a huge fan of a lot of makeup. A little yes. Over the top a lot, no. Thankfully though, my girlfriend is not one of those women who needs to wear makeup all the time. She’s more like you where she’ll where it here and there but not often or a lot.
