FIX the invisible players in PvP
There are from time to time players running like seethrough silhouettes. Its obviously cripling the gameplay. This is like 2 weeks now, how it is not fixed days ago???

It’s not your fault, or your pcs or your internet. Clearing your download cache doesn’t help either, it didn’t for me and there isn’t a single feedback message on this forum or the DestinyTheGame subreddit that has a user say : Oh, clearing the cache solved it! In fact, the only feedback was that it didn’t work and some claimed it made it worse. Also take a look at your task manager if you’re on Pc, see how D2 now uses nearly all your RAM. A serious issue for many. It’s not fun getting gunned down by just a name tag in PvP, or being unable to see your reticle in PvE during the crucial Legend Campaign or other harder activities. I’m sure Bungie is working on it, and I pray they do it a little faster. For me personally I haven’t had the issue today, so I hope they did something about it. My friend however, who is on a very high end pc with 10GB fibre internet, had invisible enemies in a match we were in, Control. Today. So I’m just coping that it got better for me. Destiny 2 was using 77% of his RAM, 32GB. And he’s had multiple crashes , some after running the game for only 30 minutes. He thinks it’s on his end, but the many many posts both here and on Reddit tell a different story. Get-it-fixed Bungie, this isn’t a tiny bug, this is a major, game breaking issue.

I can only get one game in before my model glitches out. Change a weapon and it's glitched out. Restarting the game only fixes the first match. I have cleared cache, powered off for a few minutes. Happening on PC as well. Would love for this to be patched.

Hell yeah. I’m not one to complain but this is a real problem in 6’s. Connections in 6’s are also bad. Slide a corner, hit someone with a crispy 3-tap. They took no damage, killed me and then died several seconds later from my initial shots. -

It's not only pvp. Happens in the tower with other players, my character and weapons. It's even worse when running PvE or strikes.

3 RepliesReboot your console. It happens to me when I play out of rest mode. I just do a full reboot and it's fine.

ROFL. they havent ever fixed PvP. You think they will fix that issue? maybe in 6 months when a streamer complains.

To clarify the comments. There's 3 cases for invisibility in Destiny. 1) Normal Hunters that have invisibility abilities and use them (they normally use shotguns too) in PvP. The fix for this is, well there is none, this is as it should be (I hate these Hunters as its way over played but works as intended) 2) For more then a year or three, there's been issues NEVER resolved and only commented on barely with a hack fix, that causes the players, yourself included to appear invisible (your not it just looks like it). The fix for this is to reset your cache/console, ect. You will know if you are suffering this when you go to the Tower and see it happening, it happens to you, and/or you will notice the sound clip for your weapons change to something extremely different. 3) Cheaters in PvP The fix for this, endure it or quit the match (sadly the only one punished for quitting is you!)

Get it too, some nights it’s worse than others. Happens too when you switch weps mid game very annoying

If you are on ps turn off the console and restart, dont use rest mode .

If I’m in my menu moving stuff around my stuff, my character and most players are either temporarily invisible or permanent invisible for the match. Very frustrating

If they fix the easy-mode Class though, the majority of PvPers would leave ;-) -
You likely encountered a highly skilled Hunter main.
