The power grind was one of the worst parts of this game. It is infuriating to have to go collect trash for weeks just for the game to feel the same way it did before the new content dropped. I have thoroughly enjoyed not having to grind the same activities again just to make a number go up. Actually one of the worst systems in the game and you just brought it back. Just so you can force people to play content they don’t want to. Again. Stop going back on quality of life improvements just to increase the playtime artificially. If your game is fun, people will play it. If it’s not, people won’t. And making people run the same things they’ve already beaten 30+ times just so they can enjoy the new content doesn’t reinvigorate anyone to play more. It is very clear that your company’s focus is entirely on the amount of time people are logged in as opposed to providing an enjoyable experience. How many times will you make mistakes before you learn to stop moving backwards? Edit: Sylok made a good point in the comments. You marketed this as a change FOR endgame players. As someone who only plays this game for the endgame, this is the last thing I want. I have already done these activities to the point that I have everything they offer. I want to play the new stuff. And this change makes it take longer for me to be able to do the new stuff. So that’s not a valid reason at all.
