I miss them. It made fusion rifle crutches actually work for their ammo. Now all they have to do is respawn.

The march 5th update, the one that added special meter and changed ttks, was one of the most fun periods of destiny PvP for me. It’s a shame that they decided to revert almost all the changes they made back then.
-
Original checkmate was one of the best PvP changes made 💯
-
Not just fusions. Shotguns are a problem as well. Special ammo crates along with ammo drops on kills was a stupid change for someone who claimed they want to reduce the ammount of special ammo.
-
Same with the apes... now it's everyone gets at least 1 ammo per life and they just unga bunga with fusions or shotguns, camping corners with their whole team when they're out of ammo...
-
I agree wish we went back to special ammo meter
-
Their whole goal was to improve the special ammo economy. They succeeded and then took a dump on their achievement. I don’t know which segment of the player base cried the loudest for it, but Bungie didn’t have the backbone to fight it.
-
If they rely on respawning to get a lot of kills it means they die A LOT so you should be fine.
-
I feel like every change they make pisses off half the population. What sense is there in investing company resources to build changes that will just piss off the other half? Leaving these things alone, still left with 50% approval and free development resources to focus on new content.
-
Bungie has stopt implementing this system because feedback was that ppl did not enjoy less special
-
Nope special meter was the worst thing to happen to this casual pvp mode
-
Just here for the fusion rants. Go on.

I get that it hurt snipers and glaves by they could have adjusted for that! As it stands, it is just special jousting the whole game with pulses on every angle.
