I come back to the dead game to just do some braindead onslaught, and instantly put in a bad mood because of this issue. I went on a monkey brain titan build that requires me to be up close and personal (you know, the whole "identity of titans" thing you keep pushing?). Just logged off and am going to go find a better game to play that doesn't waste my time. Ya know, like hundreds of thousands of other people have decided to do as well.

Red circles on the ground buddy. Been there for years lol
-
There is. Has a red circle on the ground where it'll land. Very small window but its there. Better to learn the spawn areas in events than to look out for the red circles.

The ring on the ground where it lands is so nearly invisible, it should be brightly colored (it's orange) and thickness of the ring increased 2. The timer on it is super bad, once on the ground you have less than 5 seconds to move (good luck noticing while you're looking in front of you or fighting / ADS), unlike missile strikes where they mark it down w/ a laser beam, then after a long enough time you SEE them come down from the sky. Why does bungo still use drop pods, Cabal used drop ships in D1, can we please go back to that, this isn't vanilla D2 we need to move on from this "Cabal are all Red Legion reskins, Shadow Legion too" thing, when are we going to get more varying Cabal that wear armors like Caiatl's, her Champion on the big landtank on Nessus etc, also can we please go back to the D1 shields Phalanx had instead of this "energy shield w/ a illogical crit spot on front" thing only the Red Legion should of been allowed to use.

buddy there is a red circle that shows u were the drop pods land
-
So what do you do then with screebs? Do you punch them too? Just stay out of the areas where they drop on the waves they do and shoot instead. Meleeing on a titan isn't a requirement.
-
I mean, you know where the pods are actively dropping. Just... don't stand in the spawn area.
-
Lol my boy rage quit over a cabal drop pod. 🤣
-
We hear you So we are tuning all other enemy spawns to kill you without warning
-
I have been killed by more cabal pods than cabal
-
This has to be B8, right? I still to this day find it hilarious when someone gets squashed by a drop pod, even more so when it's me.

This is no light… it is but a curse - old
Avoid the drop pods then I have a titan melee tank and I haven’t died by a droppod once -
in short is a SI
-
Asking bungie devs to use their brain is too much
-
It's one thing to not enjoy a game, but to blame the Devs for your own low IQ is something else. You saw a cabal drop pod land, so you thought a great idea would be to stand right on top of that spawn point? Amazing
-
So many people are writing salty posts after losing game 7 of Trials and this dude is out here doing it after getting hit with a drop pod 🤣
-
Sometimes there is. Most of the time there isn't. My friends would call it getting Cabal Balled when you'd get squashed by one. There was a way to survive one, though.
-
BOOF! 💥 There's your warning 😆
-
There is a telegraph. The ground glows with a red circle before the drop. You have about 3 sec to move.
-
Yeah, I've hated Cabal drop pods for as long as they've been in the game. Never feels fun to get insta-killed by one of them, and Onslaught Salvation is full of them. One of the many reasons it doesn't feel worth playing.
