I made this post last episode and I am making it again with video proof.
So, sometimes you gain no rank points when losing in Crucible. For unknown reasons. Moreover, such games are "ghost" ones as they do not count to any active milestones and quests (eg. Complete Ritual Activities to earn Exotic Engram milestone, IB games does not progress that one, but other Crucible regimes does)
So far I had three games with such issue, but I have videos for two.
Match one (video, PGCR).
Match two (video, PGCR).
In both matches my performance was poor, but I made my contribution. I got 2 kills in the first one with 3 assists, 3 kills and 3 assists in the second one. I actually did something and wasn't just running around. And yet, no rank points. Not cool.
Also notice that when games tries to progress rank points, it plays sound of LOSING points (you can clearly hear this in the 2nd video), but since both Crucible and Iron Banner rank points cannot go down, it just zeros.
I will add more videos to the linked Imgur post if this situation happens again.

Hello there, Thank you for your report and for the footage. We understand you aren't receiving rank points in Crucible and Iron Banner after losses. We're sorry to hear of this, as we can imagine how this would impact your experience with the game. Often, issues such as this are related to connectivity issues.
