Your morals are, by definition, certain rules or standards that you guide your life with. Do you have any? If so, what are they?
My morals are pretty straight forward. I strive to treat others as I would treat myself, I try not to be judgmental of others, and I try to be honest as much as possible.

Screw the world make it your oyster.

Do what I feel is right. Don't do drugs. I never want to become one of those cannabis smoking dumbasses. (That last remark is only towards people who don't use it for medical purposes)

-blam!- bitches, get money
-
Scout law and oath Be impartial Don't kill/steal/[insert other illegal things here] Adopt multiple perspectives to understand people at times
-
To have a compassionate heart, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forgiveness, and love.

Is anyone else surprised that none of the well known trolls have commented here? Maybe it's because they have no morals :O

This sums it up.

Edited by Celt: 1/24/2014 9:30:49 PMTreat others as best I can. Make a positive change/impact to society. Don't break the law
except for speeding.
no drugs. Drinking is meh. I'll do it at parties. Some drinks are actually pretty good, the rest taste like piss.

Have a laugh.

I only eat babies if they cry for more than five minutes at a time.

Never do drugs, never break laws, do not brag about things, do not like shitty music just because everyone else does, don't follow the lame trends of today's society.
-
Do not steal Do not wrong anyone Be faithful Only kill what you will eat Try to stay out of the illegal side of things Treat everyone with respect All beliebers must die

Edited by Meta Cognition : 1/24/2014 8:04:44 PMI'm pretty explicitly amoral. The only definite codes I try to live my life by are life-affirmation, self-love, self-reliance and, if I get away with it, any action is okay to perform.
-
Edited by Pendulate: 1/24/2014 8:00:21 PMBasically I afford other living things the courtesies I expect to be afforded to me. My moral code is essentially defined by logic and not emotion.
-
Edited by BaconShelf: 1/24/2014 5:12:55 PMI don't sugar-coat things. I won't say something my friends did is good because they're my friend. I will criticise it. If I'm in a situation where I'm going to die, I'd just get it over with rather than crying about it.
-
I don't really have any. Everything I say and do is for my own personal gain, and for the benefit of my friends and family when possible. I will also, at times, change my morals around to align them with those who I believe will benefit me at the time. Some might say that makes me a terrible person. But I really don't care what others think. As long as I'm reaping benefits and the people I care about aren't hurt, that's all that matters to me.

I go by a philosophy of mutual respect. I will respect you and your opinions regardless of what they are until I recognize that you are purposefully disrespecting me and/or the people I care about. In that case I will usually confront the person, and either reconcile the issue or remove myself if I can't.

This quote is essentially the basis of my sense of morality.
"Do not go by reports, by legends, by traditions, by scripture, by logical conjecture, by inference, by analogies, by agreement through pondering views, by probability, or by the thought, 'This contemplative is our teacher.' When you know for yourselves that, 'These qualities are unskillful; these qualities are blameworthy; these qualities are criticized by the wise; these qualities, when adopted and carried out, lead to harm and to suffering' then you should abandon them."
I don't really have set morals. I just kind of go by my sense of right and wrong. But I do have some beliefs that I try to base my behavior on. - I believe that everyone is equal - I believe in treating others how I would want to be treated [Will add more if I think of them]
-
Destroy all who stand in my way. and to be a honest and jolly fellow with a presence as sweet as honey.

When you give the D, make sure to pull out quickly
This applies to trumpet playing as well
To put them simply -Never ingest corrupting substances (*A list will follow) -Never harm another person without cause. I'm not Gandhi, if you piss me off enough I will hit back either physically or strategically. But innocents are never to be harmed. -Strive to help those around you, my future line of work will be using my talents to help as many as I can. -Never be reckless or foolish, endangering myself or others would run contrary to points 2 and 3. I would say 'Don't lie' or 'Be straightforward' with people, but that would be lying. Everyone lies, everyone breathes and everyone poops. The thing I would say is, never lie for personal gain or to avoid responsibility for my actions. That doesn't mean say the harsh truth to people 24/7 because that is a good way to burn bridges and lose friends. I might be forgetting one or two but that's the basic code I live by. *A list of corrupting substances* -Alcohol -Tobacco -Drugs, I use the umbrella term to refer to illegal drugs and not medication. > Adding to the above, I wouldn't use Cannabis for Medication and I only barely consider it so when it comes to other people. There are probably a few I'm forgetting as well, but those are the three that stand out in my head.
