Instead of writing all the technical details in defense of the DLC (I work with software and I understand a lot of the work needed to release anything on a timely manner), why not just ask yourself the following. Come December, all your friends are playing the shiny new DLC and you are not. Are you really going to stick it out and only play vanilla Destiny? That brings me to the next point: Come December and you are still playing Destiny. Isn't that an indication that you enjoy it and you will probably enjoy the DLC and that the game merits that you get it? I will buy it only if I am still playing in December honestly. I am not going to make a big deal over the nonsense everyone in this community is making it out to be.
