It's "decent". It's still far more effort for less result, compared to both other sniper rifles and other exotic primaries. With total mastery of the weapon, it can do well... in the crucible. 15 rounds can't get you through a handful of dregs and shanks in PvE. If there's an enemy with a shield, forget it. Is your issue with the scope "glare" in third person, the awkward iron sight, or the more awkward zoom level of said iron sight? I think all three need to be addressed, but your wording is somewhat ambiguous. All other things aside, bottom line is that NLB still does less damage than Ice Breaker, whose rounds are free even with Juggler, and Black Hammer, which has conditionally 'free' ammo. So while with either weapon you can throw three rounds into a Reaver Vandal's face and call it a day, the whole transaction amounting to a second or two, NLB puts one round out in the same time and it's going to take four or five more, and probably take more time to realign the sights as well.
