Lord Saladin of the Iron Banner personally asked me to find the awoken, her name was Milsha Kotari. She was involved in a strike mission against the vex on the Ishtar sink but was declared Dead, guardians have reported seeing her on Venus and the moon. It was my job now to find her and bring her to lord Saladin and her tried for abandonment, but rumors were spread that other guardians wanted her dead, I needed to keep my eyes out for them. My first problem while finding her was the Vex, they were... Relatively simple, the Minotaurs were the real problem, then the house of winter vandals and dreg. Before I killed the last one he said "by the sacred one," I knew she was close by. I was walking around with my ghost before a beacon went off. I found her location. As I could reach the entrance to the catacombs below, an unfriendly bullet nearly struck me. A hunter near by wanted to find the awoken as much as I did, she appeared out of no where and said "listen buddy, you wanna get in my way that's fine, but I'm not leaving until I get my prize." "Oh really?" I started, I clenched my fist and an electrical shock surged through my hand, "ok well get in my way and I'll pound you to the ground." The huntress pulled out her blade and energy surged through her whole body. 'Blade dancer.' I thought, I unleashed my fist of havoc and she unleashed her Arch blade and we leaped towards each other, our might was about to meet before a Nova bomb appeared from no where with a voice shouting "Enough!" We both flew back the huntress cracked her helmet and oxygen was leaking through it. The warlock appeared, I pointed my gun at her, she said "she needs a new helmet or she will die." Hesitantly I removed my helmet and placed it on the huntress's head after removing hers. My face plate was gray and had a blue star painted on it, my eyes and mouth were white. The awoken looked at me, stood up, and walked toward the cave. She signaled me to bring the hunter and follow her. We proceeded to the catacombs below and slowly I felt the pressure push down on me, "here." The awoken said, "set her down, the air may be a bit foul but it's breathable." I pulled out my hand cannon and aimed it at the warlock's head, then she removed her helmet... Her beauty was unmatched, her hair was white and short, it covered one of her eyes and parted enough so the other one was visible, her skin was a light blue, similar to a beautiful twilight sky, her eyes... I could only compare them to the brilliant light spark of the traveler. She looked at me, "strange..." She said, "a machine that feels... Tell me EXO, why is it you are, here?" I paused and said, "Milsha Kotari, it is my assignment by lord Saladin of the iron banner that I respectfully ask you to return to the last city." The awoken looked at me for awhile and started to sob, "what's the matter?" I asked, tears were streaming down her beautiful face, "I lost everyone, my friends, my family, EXO? When will my suffering end?" I wanted to know what she was talking about so I I grabbed her hand, and turned towards me, she looked at me with tears and hugged me, "they all died, the arkon priest, he killed them all. No! I won't go back! I won't because... Because..." She paused looking at the chard remains of what appeared to be ghosts, "I'm afraid of being known as the one who coward in the time of need, I don't want to be known as a failure, just kill me EXO, please I don't want to bear this pain anymore." I looked at her, she was quivering, she was scared, "I can't Milsha, I won't do that." I said, "ok then, I'm sorry too." She pulled out my hand cannon and pointed it at her head, "I'll do it myself." Then a gun shot went off, it wasn't from my gun, but it was from a scout rifle, the hunter was awake, "I won't have any of that shit while I'm around." The hunter stood up, and pulled out her arch blade, she stabbed Milsha in the thigh, "don't worry, that won't kill her, it just knocked her out, here." The hunter said picking up Milsha, "let's head back to my ship, we'll go back to the tower if you want." I was curious, "I thought you wanted to kill her." I said, " I did... But I had a sudden change of heart." We were flying through hyper space waiting to return to earth, I looked back to the sleeping awoken, I was feeling an emotion I'd never felt before in a long time, I was falling in love with this awoken. She woke up and saw me, "EXO? Where are we?" She asked, "we're on our way to the tower, I've made contact with lord Saladin, and he wanted me to inform you that, your past and AWOL have been forgiven." The awoken looked at me in awe, she damn near jumped up and squeezed me to death. "What's your name EXO?" She asked. "Desmond, my name is Desmond-115." I replied, "Desmond... What a handsome name." If robots could blush, I absolutely would have. "Let's get some rest, we'll talk more when we reach earth." I said, "I'd love to rest with you, my savior." My circuits almost fried from that. She laid her head on my shoulder, and I put my arm around her. We both fell into slumber... To be continued...
