Fallout 3: Activate the FEV virus or not?
I have the choice of handing over that virus given to me by eden to Elder Lyons, or keeping it myself and using it. Will the game be any different and will there be any repercussions, based on what I choose?
Also, should I get the recon armor or the power armor? (I already have tesla, so does it matter?)

Dont bother with the recon armour. It's the same recon armour you've been able to get since day 1 in megaton's shop. While the power armour is the same power armour you've been able to get from any dead knight or paladin, it's a perfect condition set of power armour, so is the (2nd?) highest DR in the game, and is worth a tidy sum. The tesla armour, imo, isn't worth it. By the time you'll be choosing between tesla, enclave and power armours, you should have 100 in energy weapons. While i think the tesla has a higher DR than power, you can buff that up with med-x and perks, so you're sacrificing the other benefits of the power armour for nothing. KEEP THE TESLA! And also, get a plasma rifle and buff your energy weapons, it helps a WHOLE lot.

OMG! Finally, a person with the same morale dillema as me. I kept and activated the FEV Virus at the end of the game after literally five minutes of deeply thinking. No, it does not have any repercussions or consequences.

Well that is the ending of the game so there is no benefits/drawbacks from your choice

It's not like Oblivion. It doesn't continue after you activate Project Purity.

If you want to see how the ending changes, keep it and save right before you have the option to do so (at the end of the game when your about to activate Project Purity), and then just redo the section, I personally did not, and was glad i did so.
