There is a spot u can touch up above the entrance to atheon that reopens the door back to jumping puzzle.

Sorry after retesting this it only works during the gatekeeper fight u get teleported into room for atheon

Stand in front of the door for a few seconds and it re-opens. If I remember correctly, there may be a platform right in front of it that you need to step on.

If this is confirmed, please advise how to do it, this could actually be a key to resolving all this. This could give a boost to one of my theories.
