Disc Not Reading? Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX for support (see page 35).
Every game I have reads fine but Reach will not load. No scratches and it won't even get to the point where I can install it to the HDD. It even came up as a DVD a few times...
Urk: If you are experiencing disc read errors with Halo: Reach, please contact customer support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and report the issue. As soon as we have more concrete information, we'll update this thread with the next steps.

i tried that before even checking here and it went through every av cable and disc tray solution i tried 4 different halo reach discs and all of them green screened on on 4 different consoles and would only work on the new kinect xbox the microsoft support said its possibly a script in the game that my xbox will not read and that id have to send it back and spend 119 some dollars to get it fixed when every other game works perfectly fine :(
