I'm having the same issue with Reach. I've got the Limited Edition disc, it's in perfect condition, and I'm playing on a new 360 S console. This only started after the last system update. And Reach is the only game affected. It does start up, but only once every 2-5 tries. Logically: 1) It is not my console (other games would have problems) 2) It is not my disc (unless it magically went bad immediately after an Xbox system update) 3) There's a problem on their (Microsoft's/Bungie's/343's) end and they need to fix it.
