What kind of weapons do I use against certain enemies?

Do I use Solar against Hive, Arc against Fallen, void against Vex or what?

Depends on shields. Arc>Solar>Void. Fallen: Captains(Arc) and Shanks (Solar) Cabal: Centurions (Solar) and Psions (Void) Vex: Minotaurs (Void) and Harpies (Arc) Hive: Knights (Arc) and Wizards ( Solar)

6 RepliesIf the enemy has a shield you use the same element their shield is to do more damage. Hive have Arc and Solar shields, Fallen have Arc and Solar, Vex have Void and Arc, and Cabal have Void and Solar. Enemy race doesn't matter for damage.
