As a gamer chick, I just found it easier to either say my mic was broken or pose as a 12 yr. old boy for games that required a lot of teamwork. It eliminated all the odd questions and distraction so I could enjoy what most are here to do...game. It was a challenge finding people to game with but now I have a good core I've been playing with for years so I don't have to deal with it anymore....but trust me, there are tons of gamer chicks out there but may just hide her gender, all for the love of the game.

I read a lot about the advantages/disadvantages of girls in games and stuff and I've never had the issue, I don't have any female friends that I play with, so it's me and the boys but no ones ever even brought it up, like they know I'm a girl, but they don't give a shit cause I hold my own weight. It's definitely dependant on the people you meet, a lot of guys are really cool and just want to play the game. I've been lucky to find just those.

If you were on PS I'd say come hang out with my and my clan, we have a few girl gamers and I mean we all just consider them gamers. I mean we all love the same game, there should be no discrimination or stupid questions because of ones gender. We all just want to enjoy and play this game.
