7 orb strike solved easily
Having problems here is the solution. You can also go in on the Devils lair Strike and make your way back to the area shown before doing the strike.

You could just do it the easy way by loading Devils Lair the level 8 strike, then going to the start of Earth where the 3 Hive Majors are for the orbs. Then easily finish the strike as it's only level 8 which can get done faster. And also Devils Lair is closer to the Start of Earth than Omnigul is. You get there faster. The worst part about doing the Omnigul way, is the fact that you have to get all the way back to finish that damn annoying long ass strike. Do devils lair instead, trust me it's much better and easier.
