Agreed, the material exchange is the only real way to rank up.
But since I've gotten all 4 shaders and the new ship (Level 27 FWC) I'm not going to bother anymore.
The other day I was sat there grinding out bounties, trying to rank up a faction, and I just stopped and thought 'why am I doing this'...
