This Meta Is The Worst Yet!
Title says it all. This meta is complete garbage. In order to be successful in PvP activities(IB, Trials, etc.),you have to use one type of weapon: pulse rifles. You also have to use a sniper, in particular, Eirene SR4 and 1000 Yard Stare. Also, you have to use a sunbreaker. This meta is worse than the exotic hand cannon meta in year 1. Bungie, something needs to happen. Weapon rebalancing would be a good idea!

Once Bungie changed it, there HAD to be a new overused type of gun. What we didn't know was whether or not it would be worse. Turns out it seems to be. I would argue that this meta is much worse than the previous. During the Thorn and TLW saga, you would still see people using different types of guns. Now, I see two or three types of Pulse rifle and either the Eireen SR4 or the 1000 Yard Stare. And that is literally it. Nothing else is used. Because people use pulse rifles so much now and keep distance from other players, people now carry sniper rifles instead of shotguns. This causes people to simply sight in choke points just staring down sights. Nobody moves anymore! The hand cannon and shotgun saga was better. At least people moved.
